Description Believe.
Believe. That is a strong word some times, but some times not so much. How does one person describe a belief to another person who has a contrary belief, or at least thinks they do? Is a belief based on an opinion, a fact, faith, intuition? It’s hard to say really since there are so many different ways to use that one word; believe, funny how that word just sounds so empty when not used with a statement like “I believe it will rain today”. But is it really that empty, or is it just misunderstood like a blank canvas? Hard to say since most of the time the word, believe, is thought of as a blank canvas waiting to have a masterpiece added. Think about it though, does a blank canvas not have a look, smell, and feel all its own without needing anything added? So does the word believe if it is thought of as a blank canvas; it has an essence all its own, extra words just change that essence, make it more specific, and yet less powerful. For is the word believe not powerful on its own? It is, isn’t it, when said with conviction and feeling. Alone, believe can mean anything and everything, it can have power and conviction, but add a few simple words and believe loses its power, it has no conviction now. So, really, believe is meant more as a stand alone word and not so much as a misunderstood canvas, though a blank canvas can be stand alone art, no paint or charcoal necessary; for is each piece of canvas not unique? Just like everyone’s beliefs, those are all unique, and every last one of them has power, conviction and feeling. Though how many people recognize how powerful that word can be alone? How many would waiver at the though of such power? So spread the word. Tell the world. Believe.
