Rapidash:
They are competetive, and love to run. If it sees something moving fast, it will give chase at top speed. At full gallop, its four hooves barely touch the ground because it is moving so incredibly fast. Its blazing mane flares and sparkles, enhancing its beautiful appearance.
One of my favourite Pokémon. Have one in my team in every game that they're available.

I like to try and draw Pokemon as I see them, rather than in the style of the games. (Mainly because I just can't replicate that style, no matter how I try.

I always have a Rapidash!!! But weirdly it's my Arcanine that I always call FLARE!? Wow!

Such a fierce gaze *-*
It is an amazing tribute, the background colours fit rapidash so well.
Concerning the front legs I would have prefered a kind of folded pose,
which horses usually have while they jump, not the straight forward pose,
but I have to admit it adds some extra aggressiveness to it.
I also like how you drew the mane. It can be seen as hair as well as fire,
without completely commiting to one kind of texture.

I get what you mean. I was going for a more running pose/ trying to imply speed rather than a jump pose. But I can see how the composition and angle may confuse this for a jump. I'll think more about that next time.
