Description
This is a basic tutorial I threw together for the LARPers that attend my practice here in Elsinore Ca. The method is a compilation of basic methods both of my own devision, and of my past mentors on the topic.Let it be noted that this is for a stab "safe" weapon, meaning if you stab someone on accident you should't be able to hurt them, however, the weapon is not designed for stabbing.

Is there a way to make a staff weapon with foam (like out of a dowel rod or something)

Yes, however We strongly do not advise the use of wood for weapon cores, for safety and durability reasons. We suggest Pvc, other high durability plastics, fiberglass, or epoxy matrix tubing.
