Banshee being mute made her an interesting test subject, due to her lack of communication, the researchers found that it would be best to give them abilities related to sound. Though Banshee has another ability to grow sharp claws for defense along with high intelligence.
She was just a young woman moving out of her step-parents' house and had no home, she eventually found affordable housing being offered by Pantheon. All seemed fine until she was abducted later on by Pantheon researchers and put to work as a test subject for bioweapon conversion.
Banshee was able to escape during Venus' Rampage and travel the road alone. She began causing trouble by stealing stuff and shoplifting gas stations, eventually, she came across Venus and her cohorts in an aggressive approach, ultimately running off. After some time, Banshee came across Pandora and Icarus, she was uncertain about them at first but she found the duo melded more with her style and soon join them. Now she's the brain to Pandora's crew, and though she's on the road, she seems to be happier.
