Janice Jekylene, also known as P-023, was a test subject for Pantheon's experimentation on parasitic nematodes and other parasitic organisms. She was injected with the latest strain of mutated nematode, which was designed to fuse with a host and enhance them. The testing was successful, and the fusion between the host and parasite was perfect. However, further examination revealed that the parasite was gaining sapience - it was able to think and communicate, even briefly taking control of the host.

After weeks of testing, Pantheon researchers deemed Jekylene unsuitable for bioweapon use and placed her in lockdown. During this time, Jekylene had more opportunities to converse with her parasite, whom she named Hyde. The duo eventually escaped during a Rampage and have been on the run from Pantheon ever since. They have been stealing and killing, leading to confrontations with Venus, Pandora, and their cohorts. Jekylene and Hyde are a formidable duo and will never be used by anyone again.
