A large and stocky herbivorous dinosaur, Pentaceratops also known as Shield Heads, are one of the more temperamental residents that can be found in Redwood locales. Pentaceratops have longer crests than any other ceratopsian dinosaur known so far, the reasons being display and protection. Males have vibrant colors and patterns on their crests to attract females. Pentaceratops live in small herds up to 10 or 15 members led by an alpha male and female.
Pentaceratops can defend themselves against large predators like Skorpiovenator but stand little chance against the Apex of the locale. However, most creatures try to stay clear away from Pentaceratops as they are aggressive and some studies from Beast tamers have shown that they can hold severe grudges. A Pentaceratop can remember an individual who has wronged it and if the threat is anywhere near it, it will not stop until the wrongdoer is dead.
They can be tamed making great combat and travel mounts, though many would say that you'll get used to the shield blocking your view.
