A feathery relative to raptors, Snow Steppers are smaller than the common Raptor, but is more intelligent and well adapted for snowy regions. They have a thick covering of feathers which has the appearance of a fur coat and can run through heavy snow with ease.

Snow Steppers are swift and cunning, they'll gather in groups and wound an animal, letting it bleed out. A group of Snow Steppers is called a " Council ", as they often gather around and make chattering sounds as if they are deciding on their next action.

Snow Elves keep them as pets as well as hunting companions.
