Neva felt like he had been swimming forever, his breath was getting short and his legs ached. It had been in his favour that the seas current had helped him along and pretty much carried him most of the way. It had now stopped and he was tying desperately to keep his head above the water and it was just then he saw an island appearing through the mist. The island was covered with a dense forest, looming before him as he scrambled up the rocky beach and out of the water.
His legs shook beneath him as he crept into the trees, he knew he was going to have to find somewhere to rest, he couldnt escape anything at the moment if it were to come.
