My gorgeous Blitz back strutting his stuff after not being drawn for years haha

Due to financial issues at RDS it had been over a year since Kieran had even been allowed to consider and overseas show. Safe to say he was ecstatic when Aedan and Aoife gave him to go ahead to register Blitz for the Midsummer GP!

Kieran had been heard banging around the yard, dropping buckets, walking into things in his sleep state and waking everyone but himself up at the scrap of dawn, all to practice riding in the dusky light. Everyone in the yard was grumpy and had been for weeks due to this routine, just as Aoife was rolling over to put the pillow over her head she heard a very disgruntled Aeden gulder from his caravan "FOR GODS SAKE KIERAN, DRINK COFFEE, GET GLASSES AND LIFT NOTHING BUT YOUR F-ING TACK!". She couldn't help but giggle and then resume trying to sleep until the sun was properly in the sky.

Aoife watched as the sun slunk slowly behind the rolling Swedish hills, the class was well underway and Blitz was under stiff competition for his comeback. A slightly ditsy Kieran was bouncing around the lorry trying to clean travel stains off Blitz no longer sparkly white legs. Only 40 minutes until they were on, slow poke was late for his warm up. It had been a long drive from Ireland and everyone was tired, they had had to make to do lists each morning so nothing was forgotten. By the end of the mini bat the poop had just transferred from one to the other. Niamh had the great pleasure of throwing a bucket of water at Kieran before the changed into his tails, a rare Aedan smile was observed!

The group stood and watched Blitz and Kieran warming up, it was clear he had missed the atmosphere of the big shows, it looked like he'd grown about 4 inches overnight. He pranced around the arena as if he had spring on his feet, god did that horse have an ego. "You shouldn't have let him train that horse Aoife, look at them, they both believe they're peacocks" Aedan grumbled under his breath, "Compared to mister grumpy pants who wants to be a porcupine" Nimah giggled to Danny beside her.
Soon enough it was time for Blitz and Kieran to enter the arena, the mature stallion arched his neck and strode in with great purpose soaking up all the attention.
