This is for *kludia 's redoll an old doll contest ! This took second place! Thank you all for your votes!The original doll is here .
I started this a few weeks ago and finally finished touching up the details; I forgot to keep track of my time, though. Very proud of this entry!
Orinally, her hair was going to be HUGE. Sadly, the rules stated no larger than 300 pixels, but I saved the original version. Here it is!

This is an amazing doll. I can defintly see the difference in the dimension between this and the old one. This one has a more realistic look while the other one, no offense intended, looked rather flat. Very nice job!

This is really well done, and I would love to see the full version all finished!
Though if you don't mind me giving a little critique, I'd suggest maybe changing the colors on the rocks or add a little more shading? And if you wanted, you could even slap a bit of moss/algae onto them.
I totally love it though, either way! Great job and good luck in the contest!

Could be just me, but the pose doesn't look very comfortable... Her legs are pointed one way, but her head is pointed the other. And judging from the position of her breasts she appears to be bent over what I'm guessing is a rock. Her poor back. >< That's just a nitpick, though.
Other than that it looks wonderful. The water's intricately detailed and the clothing flows nicely. As a remake it does very well; most of the points in the original work are indeed "remade", sharper and more defined than the original. Good job.
