In the memory of Luz del Carmen H. de F. October 2nd, 1947 - September 2nd 2008

Today's grandma's little aniversary. She turns 3 months of being up there in Heavens. That's what my mom told me on the phone 2 hours ago.

While researching for some sketches last weekend at her house, I found this old painting I did last year in art class. It remind me of her, because she said it was pretty and she appeared to like it very much. Even though it's not perfect and there are some very catchy mistakes such as the -wings- :s, I guess she really liked. Maybe because it's the shape of an angel; Yes, she was very religious.

The title came up with the song Angel from Aerosmith.

Done with dry pastels and retouched with Adobe Photoshop CS2. I really hope she is looking at it right now.
