"From the Gates of Heaven, I punish the condemned!"Theme 7 of the 100 theme challenge, "Heaven".
This one took me awhile to conjure up on account of...I almost NEVER draw wings~ Dx
I borrowed some techniques from CLAMP and how they make their lineart and their hair, because just like my "Break away" theme drawing, I wanted to give it a different look other than my style, which is a MUST to do in order to have my manga be successful. (I'm not answering any questions about how this'll play out, so I'll let you guys figure it out until I actually start making it.
)In any case, I like how it turned out~ Hope you guys like it too~
Celestial weapons of choice
- 11" x 14" sketchbook
- Scanner (I think its gonna die soon~ )
- 0.5mm mechanical pencil
- 0.1, 0.3 & 0.5 COPIC multiliners

It seems as though you own a lot of the traditional manga tools, the lining here looks professional almost like 90s anime before computers did all of the work. Evangelion or something like it. Nice!

Yeah, I like doing traditional media every now and then. I like to get in touch with drawing the old fashion way, while at the same time, like to do things digitally too every now and then.
I suppose you can say I like to be versatile in both fields, not just one.
However, I still lack in quality proportions and detailing still (in my opinion) within both fields, so I have a long ways to go before I feel my work's professional.

lol main reason why i work with and prefer digital art XD i'm also scared of messing up my artwork. even screwing up one line screws up the whole piece!

Lol, yeah, thats true (God bless Digital art!), but a friend of mine (who's an artist too) is trying to teach me to do traditional media as much as possible, so I can learn to accept my mistakes, thus teaching me on not making as much mistakes as possible, which I feel she has a point there.

the torso is a bit thin and the arm is a bit long, but other than that, it looks really good
