Hi,
Thanks for the comments yes its from the show hyperdrive and yes i worked on it this is one of the creations on the show,its originally sculpted in clay on a life cast of the actors face,once sculpted we take a mould from it,take all the clay off the mould and actors life cast and inject silicone into the mould,silicones like a fleshy skin,then we apply the silicone on the actors face and paint it to match his skin tone and thats it hes done,the gun was scratch built from everyday objects and bits from model kits and painted to look like metal.

Very cool! I definitely looked at the title and then at the picture and thought prosthetic as in limbs and thought how could you do that to that poor person! It was only after I realized that the word has more than one definition that I understood these were make-up effects. So, my point, Kudos for realism in a sci-fi type piece. Cool!
