I don't usually go for pink but I really like this one
It could've been just a pic of pile of glass bits but the arrangement of the large piece on the right frames the picture and gives it composition. And all the little pieces make you look at them closely.
Concept-wise it's fantastic, at first I thought it was broken lollies, but knowing it's glass gives it an adult touch.

i'm in Foundation, which is basically what all Visual Arts freshman have to endure before they can choose their majors (photography, graphic design, industrial design, or animation). i'll more than likely be going into graphc design myself despite my love for photography.

oh, don't get me wrong, i'm not giving up photography at all! i just think a college education in graphic design learning more about the Adobe Creative Suite will serve me much better than 3 years in the darkroom.

..and I think your words do make great sense ,yes, nowadays the handles matters with AdobeXXX are rather useful and efficient,those soft-ware play vital part of graphic design. You actually have a very compelling conception about your future,best wishes for you!
however,photography is more than an essential skill in favor of being a good artist,also it is a refection of our mind at a moment.

Dude, what happened? I like the colors, it is very hypnotizing, looks like a pink rock, maybe marble or rose quartz was broken, symbolizing broken hearts, along with broken glass, representing the pain of lost love, broken hearts and shattered relationships and dreams. What do I know, I'm always alone on Valentine's Day, I have such little experience in romance, even though I'm in my 20's. I like this photo, very beautiful but sad.

it's glass. at my school the kids in the glass department recycle the broken/unusable stuff based on color. your story is touching, and i too can relate. good luck with that though
