alright!

so, here is my go for 's contest. it is an illustrated scene of her project/novel. sorstan, the chestnut one on the left, has just betrayed his comrade-in-arms, reivig (the one on the ground. duh).

i had a tremendous amount of fun with this. i had been looking for an excuse to draw her lovely creatures for a while now, and this was the perfect one! i gave myself a few challenges too, with perspective and stuff, and i'm rather pleased with the result. this is also pretty anomalous in that it's in color (yay!) and that i made a try at a background (which i'm still ambivalent about).

still, i know there is a lot that could be fixed. like my scanner color, for instance, and also my technique. but over all, i'm pleased.
