here it is!sorry he doesn't have a background.
so, basically i was thinking that if dragons actually were real, they probably wouldn't have six appendages because every other not bug animal on this planet has four. also, i figured they would probably be a lot like birds and a lot like lizards. the reason he has that fan-like tail is because i realized that he would not be able to fly with only those wings of his because he is so long, so he has that tail thing to help. he has hollow bones like a bird, and a keel like a bird, and his wing scales are light flexible like feathers. yay!
he also has scars on his face and neck, as you can see. they can be a rough bunch, them dragons! he got attacked when he was little.

The wings on this dragon are amazing. I love how they are feathers, not scales, as well as his tail. This is totally what dragons could look like if they were real

this is amazing! and well thought out! reminds me of the feathered dinosaurs... and some think that is where the concept of dragons came from... anyway, i love it!

thanks for the comment and for the fav! its funny how so many misunderstood animals/skeletons/phenomena gave rise to myths, such as rhinocerous giving rise to the idea of unicorns, or elephant skulls to giants/cyclops. the whole idea of how these myths evolve is fascinating to me.

Kudos on adding logic to a mythological creature. The idea for the tail is original and looks great. While it goes without saying that the detail is incredible, the scars and horns and other small details make it very much your own and really add to it.

That's all I can say. The detail is insane. I love how you actually THOUGHT of what would make sense! Maybe that's why I don't like dragons that much is because no-one really thinks of biologically what would work...

My thoughts are that the myths of dragons come from someone finding an archaeopteryx like skeleton.
