Hey guys! :>so I scrapped this and I replace it with a better and more accurate design for ancient!Israel. However, this stays. but his hair is not going to be tied since it wansn't popular back then in Israel.
I've also used for a ref for this design, from a (comedy) show about ancient Israel, it maybe just a show, but their research is so great and incredible, and many of the characters there are wearing such clothes, I've also seen this clothes in some other different shows about ancient Israel.
after I saw this showing up for few times I knew it's like a hidden message for me to scrap my old and inaccrute design for Ancient!Israel and redo this one. I do really like this, it feels more real. is also fits my color scheme for my Ancient Israel design.
Also, if you notice, his hair is messy. that's basically because he.. lives in an age when shower and combing the hair isn't popular? his hair is still straight but a little bit wavy at it is, but as an ancient, his hair is more wavy and messy. that's a small note ouo

I figured you were going for the Maccabean-era soldiers's uniform but even that still looks quite a bit different?
