Description
So it has been a very busy week for me both at work and at home so I haven't gotten much actual time in the studio. However I still try to keep to the one bit of advice that one of my drawing instructors gave me back when I was much younger. Fifteen minutes a day. That was absolute minimum amount of time we could commit to drawing and still have a prayer of surviving in his class. Oh and he knew if you weren't keeping up on your studies. It wasn't pretty.

Anyways the only real time I have been able to devote toward drawing has been at work during lunch and the two ten minutes breaks I get a day. Yesterday I hammered out the three little plump birds at lunch and found myself with still quite a few minutes left before I had to return to work, but I had no idea what I wanted to draw. So I did a little mental exercise I will do in cases like that. I just drew a line on the paper. Just some long random curving line. Then I stared at it and asked myself what it represented. Suddenly the grumpy dragon popped into my head and I ran with it. Over the remainder of that lunch and today's breaks and lunch I scratched out old scaly. All told he probably is could for 35 minutes of drawing. Not the best dragon I've drawn by a long shot but it helps keep my skills from getting rusty.
