Description
Some study sketches/drawings of one of Luna's growing pool of Mares-in-Waiting from my Equestria dreamscape.
It's the batpony Nightfall. She's a hothead but she befriends Applebloom and the two of them regularly spar together. A frequent part of the batpony's wardrobe are those striped high stockings/socks.

She's very small for a mare. In fact she does some undercover work as a filly at one point.

Yep. Unlike many fliers Nightfall hooves are shod. Steel shoes to be exact.
