That looks pretty cool, he should shoot stuff out of his staff rather than through his finger, or maybe use his whole hand instead of just one finger. Just a suggestion.

THank you! You gave him his first comment! Well normaly magic comes from his whole body as energy, he just uses his finger to point the target! ( however you are right , it would have been more impressive using his hand or both stuff and hand)
His stuff could have other uses, for other spells, or for close combat!
