Yet another in my fan-design series for nBSG.

The top one is the Hyperion. She is pretty much the Colonial's version of a Ballistic Missile Sub. Super-large missiles with FTL drives onboard. Her onboard Raptors jump to where they want to target, bring back the co-ordinates, program the missiles, and then launch them. Even if the target's moved after the missile was launched/did its jump, it can still go after it on its own.

The bottom one is a post-Cylon War variant. They pulled the missile silos and added room for two viper launch tubes (can carry 6 Vipers). Used by the Colonial Guards (A kinda of Space based version of the USA's Coast Guard) for Search & Rescue, preventing piracy, and generally low-key stuff.

BSG (2003-2007) is of course NOT mine. Artwork however is.
