Description Heads up, in regards to Trainz screenies, I'm gonna delve into my Deutsche Bahnaboo (A German Railway Enthusiast) persona for a while, starting with this; My other hypothetical unstreamlined Deutsche Bundesbahn BR06 4-8-4, this prototype with the Wagner* styled smoke deflectors, blasts through the forest area of the HS Von Biestlingen nach Oberstein layout, with one of the DB's premier long-distance express passenger trains, Der Merkur. A deliberate namesake after the Roman God of trade, education and travel, the Merkur was first introduced in 1953 as a means to link up major centers in West Germany, just in time of the start of the Wirtschaftwunder (Economic Miracle.) Easily recognizable thanks to their bright blue coaches and blazing red and gold dining cars, the express usually ran between Hamburg-Altona and Frankfurt am Main and/or Stuttgart, and were often pulled IRL by the BR05 4-6-4 class steam engines.
So, with that being said, I figured that my piece of German alternate history would work just as well.

*And yes, just so you know, the smoke deflectors were nicknamed after the then current Deutsche Reichsbahn's chief technical designer, who just so happened to be named Richard Wagner. Just throw in Felix Paul in between, and you won't be confused with the much, much, MUCH more famous German composer and piece of Nazi-ideology...
