In spite of the fact that the serpentmen worship the Incarnation of the Forefather blindly and have awe, there are those who, by their stupidity or hubris don't want to lay their heads before the True Ruler. Necks of these apostates are shackled in special iron collars that cause them incredible pain when moving. Sometimes the pain is so unbearable that serpentmen-traitors choose death. And as a result they become a part of serpentmen army - as cannon fodder which during the battles enter the battle first. Such detachments mainly armed by all kinds of rubbish - clubs, broken swords ect.
