Description for the largest-to-date chapter 50 'Unravel', I sponsored Laele'aell Val'Sarghress , one of Kern 's original characters. Laele is supposed to be in a zombie-like state, after Sil'lice Val'Sharen tried to fix her aura being infested by a demon, resulting in her aura being removed. an aura is like an elf's soul, so while the demon was removed, she became catatonic. the gems embedded in her shoulders and hips keep her body alive, but she doesn't talk, doesn't answer when spoken to, but she moves autonomously, and very well at that (she is like an undead ninja of epic-levels). her specialty is that she can eat demons, since she doesn't have an aura that can be infected. since this chapter was supposed to be like the grand finale for the Sarghress clan, I felt Laele (who was last seen in chapter 25) should play a role, so I sponsored her and Kern accepted. boy howdy, what a role she would play!  she is kept in a little room at the Sarghress clanhold, watched over by a rotating guard shift, until one day, poof she disappears . the reason is, a most powerful demon, Khaless , the protector twin of Snadhya'rune Vel'Sharen , is on her way, and the demon will disguise herself as a Sullisin'rune doctor to come treat Quain'tana Val'Sarghress who was poisoned by Snad's sister Sarv'swati (aka Siksi) . things don't go well, as Quain is ultra-sus and won't let any doctors touch her. Quain goes berserk when some Sarghress soldiers try to restrain her so Khaless-doctor can 'treat' her. Khaless tries to escape in her demon form, and Laele is sitting on a rooftop watching her (DUN-DUN-DUUUN!) . they tussle, and Laele vores her . that should have been an epic victory for forces against Snadhya'rune's Nidraa'chal. but no, some right-thinkin' anti-Val SOBs find Laele unable to move after swallowing Khaless, and murder her . dumba$$es. she promptly turns into a 50-foot-tall clusterdemon with multiple arms, limbs, and a disturbing 20-foot-plus upper female torso, arms and head but no face. the demon says, "Hello."

I don't know how much of an impact my decision to sponsor her affected Kern's script, but both Laele-mon (the 50 foot Laele-demon) and my cameo Akumu would make an appearance in chapter 57, the latter looking more Kyorl than Dutan'vir as part of Chirinide's team of sealers and seers (both Akumu and Durlyn's sister Bal'diira were in this squad, so nowhere near Durlyn when he was murdered by that Nid traitor assassin piece of work). Laele-mon played an infintely satisfying coup de grace  role  after that, it was all basically a long epilogue, much as in Return of the King, after Sauron dies, it's all wrap-up (as Saruman screwing with The Shire was written out of the movie)
