An attempt at digital painting, I started playing dwarf fortress again and the thought of dwarves is taking over my mind.Digital painting is an extremely interesting beast of a skill, there are many ways to approach it and each artist has their own take, with this one I followed my friends advice to try and paint as if this was just a physical canvas, so I didn't really use any blending layers or anything, I just tried to paint like a painter would. One of my inspirations to this was Alex Ross, a legendary comic book artists that has incredible videos where he talks about comic book history and his professional experience and also showcase his art skills, I highly recommend it.
