I haven't seen the original, but by looking at your version, you really gave a mysterious, ghostly and dangerous feeling to the composition, don't know if that was the intention! But it is great!

Oh - the wolf is a male? Yep, I like him a lot. I've read the first chapter of BP and saw the wolf out there and he is stunning. The way he looks at the boy is... oh man. It was a little thrilling. But yes - I love this character. I am very interested how You play with this character in next chapters

technically he is... well no, I will not spoil it for you. let's just say he was "created" to look a certain way. which is why Seth is correct when he thinks it is bizarre for a white wolf to be wandering around in a city by a river ...
