Rebecca knew the safest course of action, but she wasn't sure Wolf would be open to it. "It'd be better if you checked on one of them, wouldn't it? I'm sure you could assess their condition better." Rebecca asked of her companion, knowing it could possibly place her in danger. Wolf merely sighed as she flicked a strand of golden hair from her eye. "Why did I know you were going to ask that? I can't very well turn you down though, she is your sister after all. Which one do you want me to check on first?" Wolf questioned without much resistance, relieving Rebecca of some of her anxiety. Of course I should say Kaila, but something about that other woman is peculiar. "Check on the maid first if you would please." Rebecca requested in her most sincere voice. "You got it. Just stay back, but stay back and don't get any closer." Wolf advised as she holstered her handgun for the time being.

Rebecca crossed her arms anxiously as Wolf approached the foreign woman carefully, gingerly stepping over the skeletons without batting an eyelash. Their presence unnerved Rebecca as she wasn't used to human remains in plain sight. Wolf, on the other hand, had seen enough brutality to last her a lifetime despite her relatively young age. She reached the maid in short order while keeping an eye on the exotic plants behind her. After she was confident they weren't a threat at the moment, Wolf kneeled to check the pulse of her intended target. The maid's pulse was faint but steady, a good sign for her. "Her pulse is steady, that's a good sign." Wolf echoed her thoughts to Rebecca as she moved to check on Kaila next.

As Wolf conducted her examination, a few of the maze's denizens took an interest in the group. A figure watched Wolf take the women's pulses from behind the corner of a hedge, a curious expression spreading across its face. Another of these figures stood just a few feet behind Rebecca, the sprout on the top of its head tilted inquisitively to the side. Rebecca pulled her arms closer together as a shiver shot up her spine for some odd reason.

Kaila's condition was much the same as the maid's, but upon raising her head Wolf saw their unexpected visitors for the first time. "What the hell?" She exclaimed after seeing the inhuman creature. It appeared plant like and chirped as it opened its cavernous mouth numerous times. "Be careful Rebecca." Wolf repeated, but her employer had already found one of the visitors. She saw Rebecca hunched over in front of one of the buds, speaking to it as if it were a child. What is she doing?! We don't know anything about these things, they could be looking for a meal for all we know!

Sniper Wolf

Health: 100% (-20% chance to be devoured at current health state)

Entourage: Rebecca Chang: 100% health (-10% chance to be devoured at current health state), Nothing

Inventory: Silenced Colt 1911 (8/48)

Kaila's health: 40% (+20% modifier to any chance to be devoured at current health state)
Maid's health: 40% (+20% modifier to any chance to be devoured at current health state)

A) Rush to Rebecca's side and pull her back, Wolf should be able to reach her before the creature does anything out of the ordinary, but it would leave Kaila and the maid exposed for the time being.

B) Remain stationed near the unconscious women, the creature doesn't appear to be hostile and Rebecca isn't doing anything to antagonize it. Wolf will unholster her firearm in case the bud does try anything.

C) Fire at the bud before Rebecca can touch it, Wolf should launch a preemptive strike rather than wait. She will call Rebecca to her side afterward in case the other bud decides to attack.
