Looks like Rebecca caught a lucky break....

As the bud hobbled away from Wolf, Rebecca folded her legs against her body to fit within her cramped confines. "Where are you, Wolf?" Rebecca whimpered as she bounced against the walls of her prison. Elsewhere in the garden, Kaila and the maid suffered simliar fates, albeit blissfully unaware due to their unconsciousness....

I'm coming, Rebecca. The choice was clear cut for Wolf. Rebecca was her friend and, more importantly, her employer. The blood trail left by the bud was wide and thick, splashed against a few of the edges as it ran off with its prisoner. It won't be hard to find them at least. Wolf set off in pursuit, gripping her handgun tightly. She rounded the first corner and followed the trail toward the rear of the maze, taking a detour to a new portion of the hedges. Sure enough, there was her target limping slowly with Rebecca still in its maw.

Two shots left, they should be enough. Wolf spread her legs and took aim with her pistol, holding her finger steady against the trigger. One, two clean shots embedded themselves near the stalk at the top of the bud's head, sending it tumbling over itself. It came to a stop with its mouth ajar, allowing Rebecca to crawl to freedom in the night air. "Gotcha." Wolf chuckled under her breath, proud to have rectified her previous failure. She reloaded her handgun afterward, taking note of how much ammunition she has left. "You alright?" Wolf asked the reporter as she approached her from behind. "Yeah, no worse for wear. But I do NOT want to go through that again." Rebecca exclaimed as Wolf helped her to her feet. "Don't try to pet the wildlife next time." Wolf stated sarcastically while leading Rebecca back to the clearing.

"I'll keep that in mind." The Asian woman replied, wrapping her arms around herself to warm up slightly. They returned to the clearing as Rebecca asked, "Where'd Kaila go?" Wolf had been dreading the question, but she knew it was coming. "One of those things managed to carry her off while I was busy rescuing you. I don't know which way it went, but I shot both of them before they got away. There are two trails we can follow." Wolf pointed them out to Rebecca, who seemed deep in deliberation on how to find her sister before it was too late.

Sniper Wolf

Health: 98% (-18% chance to be devoured at current health state)

Entourage: Rebecca Chang: 100% health (-10% chance to be devoured at current health state), Nothing

Inventory: Silenced Colt 1911 (8/40)

Rescue targets:
Kaila's health: 40% (+20% modifier to any chance to be devoured at current health state)
Maid's health: 40% (+20% modifier to any chance to be devoured at current health state)

First you'll need to choose how they'll proceed:

A) Split up and search in different directions, it might seem risky but it's their best bet of finding both women. Wolf would be hesitant to do so right after rescuing Rebecca, but she could at least give her the silenced colt as a precaution. Wolf has a smaller caliber handgun stashed away in her pack she can use in the meantime.

B) Search a direction together, Wolf would rather keep Rebecca close after getting a glimpse of what the garden has in store for them.

C) Have Rebecca remain in the clearing for now, at least Wolf would know where she is then. She'll search as quickly as possible for one of the other women and return to check on Rebecca afterward.

After making the first choice, which way will one them/they go?:

1) Follow the blood trail to the North, the bud will definitely have gained some distance by now, but maybe it can be caught if Wolf/Rebecca hurries. If only they knew who they were going after though....

2) Pursue the trail to the South, the other bud went in that direction and they need to find it. There's no telling how far it could have gotten and it's still unknown who it may be carrying....

If you do choose A, just state in your vote which direction you'd like Wolf and Rebecca to go respectively. Ie. Wolf 1 and Rebecca 2 or vice versa...
