Description
LACM 23845 is a specimen that falls right in between those reffered to ''Nanotyrannus'' and the classic adult T. rex. The specimen was aged at 14 (Erickson 2006) using the tibia. Woodward 2020 show that tibia estimates are lower than femur estimates, adjusting the difference between the two bones in the specimens test it yields an age of approx 17 years. Yielding the range for the age. Silhouette proportions were inferred by overlaying MOR 555 by and BRMP 2002.4.1 by and going for a middle ground.Related content

No problem. I mean to say that the postorbital portion of the skull appears small in relation to the the anterior portion. Additionally the downturn of the nasals leading to a deeper maxilla only heightens the effect. Overall the skull is definitely rather fascinating.
