This one was shot using my old Nikon D40, which I bought in 2010 and semi-retired it this past April. I still use it on occasion because my current camera, the Nikon D3100, doesn't do some things that I loved on the older camera and the 3100 has features and abilities that the D40 doesn't have (such as better ISO control and more megapixels). The LCD live viewscreen on the 3100 for example is a blessing in disguise as it helps a four-eyes like me get crisper sharper photos. I love both cameras though.

And thank you! I worry sometimes if this is too much of a niche to really wow people with but the responses to my work is so overwhelmingly positive that I'm hoping to accumulate enough to publish a fine art book later this year.

I Think You Just Have A Great Eye For The Shots, I Want To Get Into Figurine Photography too, I Just Need A Good Idea On A Camera That Will Get Close Up Shots Like You Get..

Oh, well in that case (as my teacher told me) you want to invest in a macro lens. It may not look like it, but I'm using a 90mm macro lens, which helps a lot in those kinds of shots. It's a portrait lens, so you can easily make something 6" look like a 6-foot person.

And you're too kind my friend Good luck if you get into it, it's a lot of fun doing figurine photos, especially if you go further and construct sets to use.

Thank you :3 I honestly never cared too much for this particular picture so it actually makes me appreciate it a little more whenever I get surprised with all the love it gets!

Unfortunately no, it's the new DC Direct JLA Classic Icons Batman. It's the same body as the Alex Ross figure with a new head.
