I'm not being rude by correcting you, but that's an African or a Cape buffalo. People always get those two confused. African buffalo have those horns on the minotaur pictured here, and the water buffalo is from Asia and it has a different set of horns. Also, the African buffalo is one of the most dangerous animals in africa, along with the hippo and the Nile crocodile, the kills over 200 people a year. If what i'm saying is interesting to you, look up African buffalo.

Nice. I like the pose on the first spartan. It would work well if he was pushing the Minotaur's head back..arching its back a lot. You could stabilized their center of gravity by having the Minotaur's legs really spread apart. Love to see sketch work.

i like the idea of the legs spread apart to establish balance, but
i want it to look like the beast is toppling over
so i guess i need to really push the head over
and bend the spine of the beast a little more.
