A massive claymore in appearance, the weapon is noted for its lacking of any secondary or alternate battle modes. It is purely a melee weapon. Capable of cutting through steel and crushing the hardest rock without so much as a chip on its blade. A heavy two handed weapon, Auriel’s strength allows her to swing the blade one handed if she so desires.

Secondary -- Claws of Nuada the Fog Warrior

A pair of retractable arm blades that have been passed down the family line for generations. Auriel has managed to modify the weapons to merge seamlessly into her armoured gauntlets, capable of extending or retracting and locking them into place with a flex of the wrist. Each gauntlet houses a single blade, straight and pointed like a dagger, and designed for battles that are up close and personal. Despite their age, the blades are extremely durable, proving to be just as strong (if not even stronger) than Besart Fang

Appearance

Auriel has lightly tanned golden brown skin that seems to partially glow or reflect the sunlight when she is outside. In contrast, her hair is a stark white in color, with streaks of a darker silver down its length. Long and flowing, her hair reaches well past the small of her back and is best described as slightly tousled or unkempt even at the best of times, especially since she makes no effort to tame it. Her eyes are a deep gold hue in color, and have an almost wild focus to them. Even when being friendly, her eyes still carry a definite vibe of hostility to them, as if ready to attack at a moment’s notice.

Like many people from Vacuo, Auriel has no qualms with showing off her muscular physique and womanly figure. Her torso is mostly left bare, save for a thick golden-plated scales necklace around her neck with sapphire gem in its centre and a x-shaped all white chest wrap around her chest that leaves little to the imagination without being considered obscene. She wears a pair of gladiator themed armoured gauntlets over her wrists and forearms, the one on her left arm slightly larger and equipped with an extra metal pauldron that reaches the shoulder.

She also sports a pair of black, knee length pants that carry the emblem along the right hip, with a white and metal studded belt. She wears a simple pair of white and yellow sneakers that leaves the ankles and shins exposed. Her faunus heritage is shown by a pair of ears at the top of her head. Despite looking cat-like in appearance, Auriel insists they are wolf ears, reacting harshly to anyone who believes otherwise.

Outside of battle, she adds a simple open and sleeveless jacket that is light brown in color, her emblem proudly displayed across its back.

Personality

Auriel has a very relaxed, upbeat, and cheerful personality, and tends to display a lack of ladylike manners, acting more like one of the boys and not hesitating to say what’s on her mind no matter how harsh. She serves as a sort of big sister figure to the younger students of Shade Academy, often offering practice sessions to help them improve. Despite sometimes showing a morally dodgy nature, she is not one to tolerate injustice, and can be especially vicious to those who commit the most vile of acts.

Auriel relishes in the life of a Huntress in training, fighting for glory and honor in the arena and expects the same of others, though is just as accepting of those who fight for family or to protect others. Because of a long undefeated streak, Auriel has developed a somewhat arrogant sense of assurance, believing herself to have no equal in a straight up fights. When she finally lost for the first time at her previous Vytal Festival, she was actually overjoyed at the fact, as it meant she now had a new level to reach if she wanted to become undefeated once again. Some of her teammates have noted however that she seems to enjoy fighting and training a bit TOO much, and have at times warned her she needs to change that habit so as to stay out of trouble.

Combat Prowess

The blood of battle flows through the veins of Auriel as she comes from a long line of warriors and gladiators, something she is quick to bring up herself. Her strength and power are incredible, capable of matchinh Team RWBY’s Yang punch for punch as well as fighting as her team’s tank and taking the worst of the damage so that others are protected. She was undefeated for over her first two years at Shade, her first lost suffered in her first Vytal Festival tournament.

At Shade Academy, Auriel has proven herself as one of the strongest Huntresses to have ever stepped foot in both the arena and the battlefield. She relies primarily on brute force and more grounded attacks as opposed to others, but can also resort to more nimble and agile feats of athleticism when switching to her Claw weapons. Her only real weakness is a lack of any ranged weaponry, leaving her vulnerable to long range attacks and needing to rely on her teammates to cover her back from such.

Her semblance, Werewolf Form, is fairly self explanatory. When used, Auriel changes her appearance into that of a white haired werewolf. In this form, Auriel gains a notable increase in bulk and strength, plus a massive boost to her speed, becoming almost a blur of motion at her fastest. Fitting with stories regarding werewolves, this ability is at its strongest at night when the full moon is out. The main drawback to this form is that it quickly drains a lot of energy, and thus is used largely as a last resort or surprise attacks.

Though she maintains full control of herself in Werewolf Form, her aggression and blood knight tendencies are much more pronounced than before.
