I actually did this forever ago and never put it up...for reasons unknown. Was a gift art for Casey V at LJ who suggested the idea of Riku in glasses and I couldn't resist. He came out kinda effeminate but...meh...I'll figure that out one day.Related content

It might be the hair... his jaw isn't as squared as it should be... but it is gorgeous! I love the texture in his hair!

yeah, he started off with a much squarer jaw and then I just kept trimming because he looked too old. Now he's way young and way girly, but it was a coloring experement so...I don't feel all that bad about it XD

I'm really digging mouths in general. I love drawing them and making them really...luscious...I dunno. I'll have to work on that because not every mouth is luscious. They're just fun to make that way

Okay so I have always thought that Riku in glasses would be a cute concept, and am glad to see it here, but more than that I LOOOOOOOOOVE messy ponytail!Riku. Like omg. Not even kidding.
Love the way you've shaded and detailed his hair, and for some reason I am also very fond of his nose, hahaha. X3

This was in large part a study in how to make nostrils work. I discovered the 6 is the secret. I'm not 100% satisfied with the hair, but nor do I hate it. It was just a fun experiment to run. I love photoshop XD

And I think Riku is a little effeminate anyway, so you pretty much "hit the nail on the head." I think, though, that you could have made his eyebrows and lashes a dark "silver," or something, because they're pretty distracting from the rest of the piece. Or maybe your excuse is that he dyes his hair.. xD
