Can cyborgs still get lung-disease/nicotine sickness from smoking too many cigarettes? I always wonder that....Β

Well, only her brain is not modified! And her whole body is full of modifications, even her heart...~

Ahh I see~Β Β
If she has modified internal organs, then she could also survive for a long time in heavy polluted/low-oxygen environments!
I remember once, I saw a video of someone opening an old 1990's PC case which was owned by a heavy-smoker (the person smoked maybe 20 cigarettes a day for 11 years, and would always smoke next to their computer), and inside the PC case was completely covered in smoke-yellow residue, even the motherboard was covered in thick black tar/dust, which caused the CPU to overheat and break... it was gross, but also really interesting to see... almost like looking at a smoker's lung...
I wonder if the same thing would happen with a cyborg... their internal organs cannot rot like flesh, but their cybernetic lung and heart becomes filled with so much sticky tar, and overheats/no longer sends oxygen to their brain...
Cyborg characters are really interesting to develop and explore, especially because the connection between soul and machine is super philosophical...! It is very useful way to explore topics like the contrast between immortality and inevitability of death....

Woah, that's so interesting!! Well, she loves to modify her organs from different brands!!
And yeah, it would happen! What about some modified filters, so it could clear pollution inside lungs?
But I hope so many modifications wouldn't destroy her! >_<
Yes... Soul and machine... It feels unreal to connect it together, I believe it's possible, but extraextraextrahard to do, beyond imagination how could it work!

I would say that it depends. Cyborg is partialy human partialy roboto so depending on what parts of his body are robotic he may develop different illnesses. If she still has organic lungs then she would be able to develop cancer or other lung related illnesses.
