Ripper Roo from the Crash Bandicoot series.I should note that, not having a playstation, or most of the OTHER game systems these games came on, my whole experiance of the Crash Bandicoot series was limited to GBA games, roms, demos, Youtube, and a couple of REALLY COOL RELATIVES who let me play through a couple levels of Crash Bandicoot Warped. As such, I'm not TOO inclined to do that much Crash fanart(I've tried drawing Crash himself- I can't for some reason.), but I DO have a couple characters I like from the series.
Ripper Roo and Dingodile are my two favorite, so I decided to try drawing the insane, demented, killer kangaroo. Will I do Dingodile? Who knows- will I actually create a sketch of Crash Bandicoot himself that I like enough to post(And where he doesn't look like some creepy upside down traffic cone on acid)? -time will tell... Anyway, this be my first Crash Bandicoot fanart.

I mean, it's not a problem in terms of popularity, Ripper Roo and Dingodile are EVERYONES favorite characters. If you don't think one is the best, chances are you think the other one is.

I was actually talking to a friend about the hope that one day we can have a spinoff game staring Dingodile AND Ripper Roo together...
A Pyromaniac and a Mad Bomber. Joining forces for the greater good of themselves. Think about it in terms of two-player action: Ripper Roo could lay down explosives and be the nimble/weaker one of the pair, and Dingodile could set them off and be the muscle/slower one.

Ripper Roo really is a barrel of crazy. XD According to one of his bios, he ran and was elected governer. O.o Crazy times indeed. But actually he's likeable in an insane sort of way. XD I like him too cause he's insane but smart at the same time. XD Nice style of ol' Roo here.

Personally, I think Ripper Roo is officially one of the smarter characters in the series (DEFINATLY smarter then Crash- I actually have doubts that the bandicoot even knows why he's doing all the things he's doing- he's just standing where everyone tells him to while at the same time halfway trying to stay alive.), he's just incapable of handling it all- kind of the Freakazoid theory of intelligence: all the knowledge of the internet compressed into one mind causes insanity.

At the risk of beign assaulted by fan girls, Crash is definitely among the least intelligent of the characters in the series. He was easily duped by his main nemesis and its aku Aku and his sister that have to guide him through. as a main character it's up to fans like me to write him having at least some basic intelligence. Perhaps it is the loveable moron aspect of him that people like. As for Ripper Roo he definitely is intelligent, and along with Coco Bandicoot the smartest character in the game. (Dr. Cortex falls under par due to his idiotic schemes.) As much as the rumors of Roo running for president were stated, it couldn't actually happen since he was not born in America. But in the Crash world alotta things change.

Personally, if I ever did Crash fanfiction, Crash would probably seem more like a pet dog then the hero of the series. XD For me, it's his being mute combined with being a mangy dummy that makes me like him...
Also the fact that despite his lack of intelligence, he STILL manages to beat Dr. Cortex(Yeah, Cortex isn't as high on the smarts aspect as Coco and Ripper- I think it's his impatiance and Dr Evil aspect- but he's still higher then Crash: I think even Tiny is higher then Crash by a little bit...)

Tiny might just be a bit smarter; he at least tries to talk. XD I actually tried imaging Crash not talking in my mind unlikeI usually do. And when I imagined the conversations he'd have between him and his sister coco, I almsot imagined it to be like Lilo and Stitch. (Lilo talking - like Coco, and Stitch making wierd noses to make conversation - like Crash.) I suppose for the funnier Crash stories having him remain mute works. For those who like to write serious Crash stories, we jsut gotta make him talk. XD

One guy I met told me that Crash Twinsanity had some people who worked on Ren and Stimpy working on it- since then I've been really interested in that one... Specially since the bad guy and the good guy have to join forces.
