I think it's just one of those distinguishing characteristics people naturally associate with rabbits. Since real life rabbit can actually stand on their hind legs to look over stuff, it was easier to go with making Jazz stand like that all the time, cause the average person is used to seeing it that way.

Pretty cool so far. I love Jazz Jackrabbit, it's one of my favorite PC games.

I noticed many cartoony characters are based on a peer shape... Just sometimes it's taller or shorter... So yeah, the instructions here are kinda pro. As I stated, I draw Jazz a bit different, but people who want to keep more true to the original style should get the results they want.
Just a small advice to people, generally the biggest difference between drawing Jazz and Spaz is that Spaz is much skinner...

Oh, and I do like the way you draw the characters... Just so you know about my opinions on some incorperating of the designs with your own style.
