Synopsis: The Dratori are, by far, the most reclusive of the elven people. Gifted with heightened empathic abilities, the Dratori were originally a subgroup of elves that protested against barbaric and horrifying practices being implemented by their Hytori counterparts in the early days of the world. They believed that the younger races should be embraced while their counterparts believed they should be conquered. This lead to the Dratori ancestors being rounded up and turned into the very thing they hated most; violent and brutal harbingers of death. With the assistance of dark and twisted magics, every Dratori was turned into a berserker. Inside all of them dwells the potential to become a rage filled embodiment of wrath and carnage. Following a terrible and bloody civil war, they broke away from the rest of the elven people and chose to live in the vast woodlands known as the Wildking’s Forge. They are a very peaceful people who cultivate communion with the natural world and its various spirits. As pacifists, they kill livestock or hunt game only to feed themselves and will always seek to find a non-violent solution to conflict before resorting to harm in self-defense. Inside every Dratori still burns the potential to be a terrifying berserker, a fact that leads nearly all of them to be experts in meditation and peaceful reflection.
