I saw this piece while doing some random browsing and knew that I had to write a critique on it. I believe this is the second piece of artwork that I have critiqued from you. You did a great job in making these people(spirits?) look grotesque. They look positively miserable and I got the feeling that they are on their way to Hell. Something is vaguely funny about this picture but I can't put my finger on it. The water looks eeryie. (I doubt I spelled that word right) and Dante looks probably much how he did in real life albeit in cartoon form. Great job! Keep up the good work!

Charon objected to Dante boarding the boat, but Virgil speaks sternly to him. Dante also notices that his feet exert more weight than those of the damned as they board.
The saved also board a boat, but to Purgatory, and they board with a song in their hearts. Tese wretches are just yelling and shouting.
