I like the lines and the stark contrasts here. Black and white seem to be building up from the corners to contrast and confront each other in their strongest in the diagonal stair line.

Hvala, prvi trenutek ko sem videl fotke s tega photosession-a, sem pomislil, da je ta fotka 'za cajtom', in da zaradi tega ni vredu. Potem pa sem se spomnil kako cool fotke so bile nekoc v zgodovini fotografije, tudi ko se niso bile tako tehnicno brezhibne kot danes in sem se odlocil, da taka graficna zadeva tudi vredu deluje na pogled.
Dobro si to ugotovil - retro.

Absolutely awesome composition.
Quite fascinating. They seem to have a "soul".
There are ways and ways to take a photo of the same motive. You always get the most interesting aspects of it, in a very talented way.
Thinking about the simbolism of stairs, as well, now while I was looking.
So many things came up to my mind.

I'm in most cases just a documentarizer of somebody elses work. In this case the arhitect - he was real artist.
I think that the stairs deffinetily got the soul too.
I'm also thinking by such a motives about the pure ideas ( in a Platons way ) that stands behid such a works.
In this case mathematic order on one side and chaotic and harsh on other.
Simbolism is by such a universal sign always very strong. They are in some way arhetip - part of colective unconciousnes.

I could write something about simbolism of stairs, about the levels in life, and passages from one ere to second, or about naked materia and alienation, but I didn't think about all that at the time of shoting. I was thinking about that before and after.
