But anyhow, this feels extremely sullen and dark, like something was ripped out of Sonic's heart, a loved one, perhaps? May his grieving not last too long, otherwise we've got another case of the emotional blues...

i know that the first character (symbol) is 'e' so thats a start
but the next character looks almost like 'ku' in my notes.
but i haven't learned the third one....
so all i have is 'e' and from there im lost

This is an extremely emotional, very direct piece. It's fairly evident...seems to me that Sonic is not crying, but looking up? The pose speaks volumes, he could be crying, could be angry...somber...

I'm assuming that due to the recent death of Michael Jackson and his involvement with the Sonic series (composing music for Sonic 3 and his shoe buckles being the reason why Sonic has them on his own), that it is the reason.
