Burnaby Mountain Covered In Fog XI...So the sun started to poke out this morning and i had decided to go to one of my favourite photo places, Burnaby Mountain. Well to my surprise when i got up there, it was completely engulfed in fog. Realizing the new wonders to await me I became so giddy i started running around the mountain taking photos of everything, and when i was done even realized in my haste i had forgot to turn my lights off. Hope you like this series, i sure did

It really is! I need to get back up there. Sadly I moved into New West, so I don't venture to Burnaby Mountain as often.

I go to university at SFU, so i get to experience the fog and wind and rain and cloud and snow daily XD it does make for some interesting photo conditions

I really like this, I've always wanted to capture fog but its such a fleeting thing. I think this really works well because of the trees regressing into the background it really gives that sinking into the mist feeling.

A great set. I'm glad you kept these in color (a lot of people automatically go B&W with fog, but the green here is so wet and delicious). Great branches. Well composed photos.

Yea i have had a few requests to put some in B/W but i love the subtle colours popping out from the leaves and the moss

and i mean really really really cool....i can never get fog shots to turn out like this....not that ive tries enuff haha...but wow its still so clear!
did u do anything to these? contrast at all? if not then u have a freaking awesome natural talent.

ooooh i hate noise. i know wht u mean tho....
but they already had pretty good contrast for fog pictures so its a good thing u didnt need to fix it much!

Haha this was my first time shooting in fog, and i believe i just lightened it up a bit.. I barely did much to the fog series photos because i didn't want to bring out too much noise that was hiding in the background of the image.
