You know what's really hard to do in watercolor? Details are really hard to do in watercolor. This took like a month to do because my paints kept getting lost and then time kept getting lost and... yeah.

This is Barclay (my headcanon Scotland OC for Hetalia) when he's very young coming and happens across a Roman campsite. The Romans actually had very specific sorts of camps that they carried as they marched, but maybe this was a scout party?

Done in ink, watercolor, blood, sweat and tears. I'm only joking about a few of those. Unfortunately, the pen didn't show up too well on the watercolor paper, which is why the texture is rather strange..
