My dad had a peacock when I was a kid, but it had an attitude problem. He took in a LOT of rescues (peacocks, parrots, racoons, a wolf pup) so some of them had been traumatized and had behavioral issues. That peacock was pretty obnoxious ... I still would love to have one, though.

heeheehee they are like roosters and turkeys. If you don't hand raise them, especially the males...they can kick yur butt!! Buzz (yes we named him after Buzz Lightyear as his attitude was...I ain't NOBODY'S toy boy..heeheehee) was not to terribly bad but I had a rooster named STew Pot..cause he was so mean I told him when I found a replacement that was where he was headed!~!
