I'm currently attending College for Creative Studies, part time, an all art school, but I'm mostly self trained, esepcially with CG You in school currently?

I actually am a bachleor of E-Business but was allways into marketing and creativity so I did the next logical thing - a graphic design college (which I'm currently attending), nothing art related (except for general art history) there, but I'm looking to expand my skill-set (mostly on my own, since that's what it comes down to in the end - schools can only push you in the right direction, you have to walk the path yourself) and therefore am checking out my options for the next move, that will involve some heavy learning and practice I personally believe that I can learn much more on my own than just by relying on an institution but still, I can use all the help I can get if I find it's worth the while right?
I started CG this January, and started taking drawing seriously in general (bought an intous) and I think I'm making some nice progress based on the level I'm at now but ofcourse it's because of the long hours I put into it, after work (I work as a graphic designer) and in between activities. I'm sorry I turned this into an autobiography but what comes up must come out imo

Lol nah it's okay!I was the one who asked, no biggy! It's good when people actually have something to say other than the norm. My instructors tell me from time to tiem that I actually dont need to attend college- that I can jump right out into the industry, but I love it there-- the environment, and the people. I feel that if I underestimated my need for school I would miss out on some great learning experiences.

Must be nice though, take up one challenge, master it, then move to another. You must rarely get bored! Aside from art, my passion is cooking and writing

Well I have allergies and I couldn't decide if I wanted to stay asleep or wake up , plus I was having a cool dream, lol so I'd wake up, sneeze a few times, post, go back to bed, repeat the cycle, lol. I sleep walk too, I'm glad I gave you posts you could comprehend, lol. I'm in Eastern Standard time btw, and I live in Detroit MI.

I'm awake now. I just had a waterballoon fight and played in the sprinklers so now I'm tired again but I'll be up drawing.

Ah, sometimes I sleep draw. I'll write notes in my sleep that seem to make senses when I'm writing it but when I read it later one it's just raw stupid!

There's a heatwave here right now, so yeah, playing in the sprinklers was a great way to cool off. As for my allergies, unfortuantly, it's a 24/7, 365 days a year thing >_< Just summer makes it worst. Watcha drawing by the way?

Blessed at a chance to explore your subconcience first-hand (also risking embarassing moments i'll bet, but all good things come with a risk )
As for your allergies, bummer..
I did a barbarian/amazonian girl warm-up, and now am considering doing either spidey(crazy pose), a cloud goliath(haven't seen one, would love to) or some random OC beastial/hulkster (can't get enough of hulksters) - what would you pick? And what are you drawing?

Hmm, Cloud goliath! What is that anywho? I'm currently finishing up an OC for a friend of mine,anthro fish guy-- her Birthday gift. After that, I'm going to work on some original concepts that I've been wanting to draw for some months now. Hey are you entering any other contests?

As for contests, I'm thinking about the Assassin's Creed artbook, and the sci-fi/fantasy fusion one - in both cases I'd be biting off a solid chew, so I will think twice about attempting to work on an entry
Would it be rude to ask for your msn, aim, skype or something of that sort? As much as I enjoy exchanging comments, nothing beats live communication
