OMG, I was so excited to scan this one. This is one of my all-time favorite drawings I ever cranked out. I did this when I was sixteen. I swear it took days, but the end result was gorgeous.Colored pencil, pencil, ink.
EDIT: I am told it looks a lot like Aya from Weiss Kreusz. ^_^

Well, back in January they thought it was something chronic, like pneumonia. But then they said I was okay. Four more colds later, I think they're wrong, so I will probably go get a second opinion. It fails because I'm sick maybe three times a year, not five in less than six months. I'm one of those weird healthy homeopathic people.

Maybe try some Chinese herbs. Ginseng is always good for getting your ki to flow in intestinal or organ issues. Maybe drink a cup of ginseng tea a day? Granules, not tincture, tincture doesn't do crap.

I like herbal medicine better than chemical anyway. It weirds me out that some of the stuff they put in you can kill animals or you. >>

Oh yeah. Well, pretty much anything can kill you if you take it wrong, it seems. My recommendation for Ginseng would be to buy 200 mg teabags or capsules, and only drink/take one or two cups/capsules a day, don't exceed 400 mg. Lots of water with it too, Ginseng will make you retain water if you're not drinking a lot.
Hopefully your doctors will get their heads out of their butts and figure out what is wrong with you soon, though.

Seriously, I didn't use anything as reference that I know of.... But I can't guarantee I haven't seen the picture. It may have stuck in my mind for awhile. I did have a friend that was really into Weiss at that time, so it's very possible. ^_^ But thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely change the description.

It's just kind of ironic that the shading is more or less EXACTLY the same in every place save the bellybutton and the blankets, even then, the hand is exactly the same shape as well. It's incredibly hard to believe you didn't reference the picture.
I must thank you for not jumping on me tooth and nail though, taking something like this so graciously is somewhat admirable.

Well, it was over six years ago that I drew it. It's definitely possible! I just make my notes based off of what was in my art journal and what I remember of the drawing from the time. I usually made notes of reference materials because I was building my portfolio for college back then, and I needed reference citations for portfolio submissions. An absence of notes meant I didn't use anything.
I couldn't follow your link, so I'm still unsure if I've even seen the picture, but it would be pretty hard for me to remember. I wasn't a particularly big fan of Weiss, but I was exposed to it.

Shhhh.... It's a secret.... But I actually ran out of other colored pencils and all I had were a bunch of different pinks. I was too cheap to go buy more art supplies, so he ended up pink. ^_^
