I always thought things would have gone a lot better if Obi-Wan just lost his temper with Anakin, even just once. But then, I guess that would have ruined the point of the original trilogy, wouldn't it? And then we'd never meet Han Solo, and that would be a REAL tragedy.Yoda is mentally playing the worlds smallest violin for Anakin. (and I had, like, no reference for Ki Adi Mundi. so... I fudged it. Heh!)

As annoying as he is, he does kind of have a point; none of the other Jedi (other than Obi-Wan) seem to care about him or want to listen to him. It shows when no one seems to care that Obi-Wan killed him. I wouldn't want Obi-Wan to kill him but yelling at him or slapping him on the head (he needs to learn the Gibbs slap) might have been helpful but Jedi aren't supposed show negative emotions.
