Description Black bears are distinct of the bear species with their larger fluffy ears, smooth curved lines and a lack of distinct hump over the shoulders that the brown bear has. Their muzzle is a bit more rectangular than their cousins.

Im going to be making a few free use linearts of different bear species since they are woefully underrepresented as characters Making free linearts usually bites me in the ass, with people abusing them, but hopefully people can follow the rules.

IF YOU WANT TO USE THIS -->  PLEASE READ THE TERMS OF USE:
You must leave the URL on the picture, erasing it and retyping it on the image in a better position is OK.
Removing it completely is NOT. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THIS RULE FEEL FREE TO USE SOMEONE ELSES LINEART. Thankyou!
If you trace this artwork to get around this rule I will file a takedown notice for art theft.

link back to Cunningfox as the artist of the line-art wherever you post this image. Credit where it is due!

You may edit the bear in any way you like (adding wings/horns whatnot)

You are not allowed to color this and sell it FOR REAL MONEY. No real monetary gain must come from this image. SIM money such as DA POINTS & furrypaws currency is OK.

Feel free to make adoptables with this lineart

EASY STEPS FOR COLORING
This lineart is not fill tool compatible (or MS paint compatible really) the lineart is on a separate layer & the color layer clearly marked out below it.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE PHOTOSHOP/SAI save the flat image instead. Open a painting program that uses layers (many are free to download)

Open this picture in the program (it will be on its own layer, if it is on a 'background' layer then use copy layer to create another exact same layer over the top of the background.)

Click layer settings, it should say something like: normal or default. Change it to Multiply or multiple on the line art layer.

Create new layer underneath the line art layer, leave it on normal/default.

Use the brush/pen tool to color by hand on the new layer under the line art layer.

Have fun!

Okay, I'm sorry for possibly being stupid, but just to be clear, we can not make designs, and sell them for actual money?

No, you can't make real money adopts with this. Otherwise you'd be profiting off my labor and that doesn't seem too fair, don't you think?

I am going to use this to help me design characters for my story <3 (there are Werebears, Werecats, Werewolves, and Werehyenas. They shift to feral form, not a mixture of both) But this will help with the bear side xD <3

btw it wont be official art, its just to help me map out haha
