I want to create something that looks like a screen capture from animation and here it is.Not reaLLY good at this.

Actually, I think you've done a great job of giving the characters an animation-cel look; this could easily be a frame from a cartoon show. The design of the characters is really fun, as well – there's an aimiably boisterous, cheerfully scruffy quality to them, which puts me in mind of the pirates from Laputa: Castle in the Sky. Neat!
