The color scheme for the Fakemon is wonderful. The tones of grey give the fake Pokemon a sense of calming. The design reminds me a lot of Braixen, but if the Pokemon were a bird. I can see the Fake Pokemon represented as the feminine starter Pokemon. Nintendo has recently designed their starters to aim at specific genders. The design is a good mix of curves and points in the line work. It's just a suggestion, but I think you should ditch the staff or stick of the bird. The staff is not attacked to anything on the back, and does not add anything to the Pokemon. You mentioned you pictured the fake Pokemon being a bird sorcerer, but I don't get the same idea. The fake Pokemon just looks like a humanoid bird holding a staff or stick to signify leadership. If you want the bird to look like a wizard, show them carrying a wand, floating, or show their mystical powers coming from their feathery hand.

There's a reason for the scepter. Yes, Witchirp is supposed to be a Raven crossed with a witch or sorceress. It's scepter is supposed to be a wand or staff of sorts for the Pokemon.  It carved out the wand from a fallen hence the image at the bottom right. I should have explained this in the concept art instead of writing it in Japanese, but it has these small inconspicuous spines on it's back that allow it to attach it's staff do it's back when not in use. Also the stick is kind of based on Raven's using small sticks and twigs to aid in their hunting. If Witchirp does remind you of Braixen, then it should because it was actually inspired by aforementioned Pokemon.

Just thought I'd clear some of that up. Anyway, thanks for your critique

That makes a lot more sense! I like that it's inspired by real life ravens that use sticks. You should copy and paste this into the description of the drawing!

Is kind of an interesting pokemon, it has what it seems to be a look between Fennekin and Decidueye, I find the sketches pretty mediocre, except the N5, that actually looks legit (Which I think you mentioned is the updated one, I can't read japanese sorry), I'm guessing is a Plant / Psychic maybe?, it seems to have copied some aspects of other pokemon, like for example the legs, which looks a lot like Combusken's legs, but overall, I gotta say is a pretty draw and a great improvement from the last draw

Still got some Harry Potter vibes, dunno if intended.

Well, Witchirp was heavily inspired by Braixen, I'll admit that.

It is supposed to be a raven, crossed with an adolescent witch or a sorceress
