Name: Scardus

Bio: Scardus is believed to be one of the earlier Kaiju created as Buboestus made his way through Japan to head towards San Francisco. Scardus was infected while still in the Larval stage of his development, as while the larva stage was never seen directly, the cocoon was discovered before Scardus himself.

Scardus is a massive Rhinoceros Beetle, one who was discovered eating fields upon fields of forests. Mostly docile but highly territorial to anything that enters his immediate territory. He is absurdly well armored against most attack, even compared to other Kaiju.
Currently Scardus spends his time flying around Asia seeking out forests to feast on. Currently, he feeds on a total of 30-50 whole trees per day.

Abilities

Horns - Scardus like a normal Rhinoceros Beetle possesses horns, which he uses to dig up trees and fight other Kaiju. These horns are serrated to inflict deep cuts in anything that attempts to escape.

Exoskeleton - Scardus possesses one of the strongest exoskeletons ever seen. Nearly rivaling the armor of Salacia.

Wings - While Scardus can fly, he is a clumsy flyer, able to move from place to place, but he rarely, if ever uses it in fights. He has difficulties turning sharply enough to make this more viable as anything but getting from place to place.

The Gigas Strain- The Gigas strain is a unique virus born due to the unique D.N.A. Repair mechanism of Tardigrade Maximus. After stealing the D.N.A. of Tardigrade Maximus, the virus would remain Dormant for millennia, with few cases popping up during various eras in time when Tardigrade Maximus awoke from his stasis. Once infected, the virus passes vertically from parent to child. This increases the chance of later horizontal infection. Each successive generation tends to be larger than the last. Gigantism is a common symptom of infection by the Gigas strain, though sizes tend to increase with each new generation.
